| ~Hot Stone Massage~ This is a very soothing, deep penetrating heat therapy. Warm, smooth basalt stones are used to apply a Japanese Style stone massage where the stones are massage into the muscles; they are not just placed on the body with no massage. The stones can be used with and without oils. The initial heat contact stimulates the nervous system to release endorphines, and increases white blood cell production and blood flow, thus promotes healing to where ever it is needed in the body. Please schedule it in advance to allow time to heat them. This treatment can be combined with other modalities simply extend the time of your session to allow for it. A full body treatment should take 70-90 minutes. This is excellent for relaxation, all over body aches, sore muscles, high stress or fatigue. Consider adding an aromatherapy combination to compliment your session. |
