| ~Your Session ~ Reflexology sessions are done with you being fully dressed, face up on the massage table. Pillows will be used if you would like, a blanket or sheet can also be draped over you if you are cold. I will apply a hot towel wrap around your feet to cleanse them and help you relax, preparing thousands of nerve endings in each foot to better receive the treatment. After your foot wrap, I will apply a soothing oil or Shea butter to your feet depending on the texture of your feet. Each point will be stimulated with the intention to facilitate better circulation throughout your body and normalize function, resulting in improved overall health. Relax your mind while you allow your body's natural healing ability to help balance each system. Reflexology promotes a high release of endorphins, so it is common that you may sleep. A full Integrative Reflexology treatment will take 60 minutes. There are approximately 72 points that will be touched in the full session. I will treat your hands in the last 10 minutes of the session if you would like. I am certified in Foot, Hand and Ear Reflexology. When Massage is combined, the session will begin with Reflexology, to give me an idea where to focus the massage and will also end with Reflexology to ensure body energy is flowing. |
| Integrative Reflexology is based on the Chinese Art of Acupressure; touching pressure points on the feet. |
